Matthew Paul Hollinger

Matthew Paul Hollinger, 26, of Ocean Springs, MS, died Saturday, June 25, 2011 in Ocean Springs. Matthew was born in Pascagoula and remained a lifelong resident of the coast. He was a concrete finisher in the construction business. Matthew, while you were with us you touched so many of our lives with love and joy. These memories will be shared and treasured throughout our lives. Your smile, love and pranks will be missed. He is survived by his wife, Melissa Anne Hollinger, and son, Gavin Paul Hollinger, both of Ocean Springs. His immediate family consists of his mother, Lisa Annette Stokes of Vancleave; father, Michael Paul Hollinger of Grand Bay, AL; grandparents, Norman Alfred Stokes and Edith Voncile Stokes of Vancleave; brother, Greggory George Hollinger; sister, Emily Voncile Hollinger; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins all of Vancleave. Dear Lord, thank You for the time that Matt was allowed with us. Take our family member and give him the love and blessings that only You can. Keep him within a stones throw of a creek for fishing and swimming. Also, please give him front row seats to all the football games that he can watch. Visitation is Tuesday, June 28, 2011, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Bradford-o'Keefe Funeral Home in Vancleave. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Shiloh Cemetery.
