Maurice Michael Lynch

Maurice "Monk" Lynch, 85, of Biloxi, died Wednesday, June 27, 2007 in Biloxi. Maurice was a resident on the coast since 1945, born in Pittsburgh, PA, a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII. He was Catholic, a retired mechanic and welder for Kennedy Engine Company. He also worked at DeJeans Package Co. Maurice is preceded in death by his parents, Isadore Lynch and Nora McDonough, three brothers, Tom, John, and Pete Lynch, 1st wife, Lucille Polovich Lynch, 2nd wife Maud Lynch and an infant son, Michael Lynch. Survivors include a daughter, Ann Lopez (Curtis) of Biloxi, two grandsons, Curtis Lopez Jr. and Justin Lopez (Bridget) of Biloxi, a great - granddaughter, Olivia Lopez and a nephew, John Lynch, Jr. (Marilyn) of PA. Visitation is on Monday, July 2, 2007 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Both will be at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
