Mr. Maven Francis "Pedro" Peterson, 67, of Pass Christian, MS died Friday, May 13, 2005, in Gulfport.
Mr. Peterson was a native and lifelong resident of Pass Christian. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in the Dedeaux Community.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Aven J. and Ethel Malley Peterson; a son, Richard Anthony Peterson and two brothers, Mack and Haywood Peterson
Survivors include the mother of his children, Willie Mae Peterson; four daughters, Annette Cuevas and her husband, Mike, of Necaise Crossing; Liz Peterson of Lizana; Theresa Ladner and her husband, Raymond, of Kiln and Melissa Ladner and her husband, Ricky, of the Dubuisson Community; five sons, Wayne Peterson of Pass Christian; Pat Peterson and his wife, Robin, of Saucier; Joe Peterson; Jerome Peterson and Jeffrey Peterson and his wife, Tonya, all of the Dedeaux Community; four sisters, Helen Rester of the Dedeaux community; Idalou Ferguson of Necaise Crossing; Lois Wells of Florida and Linda Steiner of the Dubuisson Community; eight brothers, David Peterson, James Peterson, Clayton "C.J." Peterson, Sr., Jessie Peterson, Donnie Peterson and Bill Peterson all of the Dedeaux Community and 29 grandchildren.
Visitation is Monday, May 16, 2005, from 5 p. m. till. at the Orange Grove Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes, O'Neal Road in Gulfport. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in the Wolf River Cemetery.
