Max Daniel Lightsey, Jr.

Mr. Max Daniel Lightsey, Jr., 61, of Vancleave, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, July 1, 2011 in Vancleave. Mr. Lightsey was a 1968 graduate of St. Martin High School and served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He was a Pastor of Leaksville United Methodist Church. Mr. Lightsey was preceded in death by his parents, Max D. Lightsey, Sr. and Irma Johnson and a brother, Gordon Lightsey. Survivors include his loving wife Jean Alexis Lightsey, and his faithful companions, Peachy, Penny and Sally; three sons, Blake Lightsey and children, Tony Meza, Aria Lightsey and Aiden Lightsey; Jason (Rachel Pearson) Lightsey and child Creek Lightsey; and Clint (Elizabeth) and child, Charrissa Lightsey; three daughters, Paula (Jody) Seymour and children, Heath (Heather) Seymour and Hannah Seymour; Ramona (Charlie Dunn) Melchiona and children, Catherine Schwark and Ryan Mack; Doris (Randy) Sexton and children, Candice (Chris) Olin, Darrelle' (Bill) McKnight and Randall (Jessica) Sexton; and four great-grandchildren, Gracie Seymour, Macee McKnight, Braden Olin and Kyler Seymour. Services will be held Sunday, July 3, 2011 at 1:00pm at Fayard Chapel in Vancleave where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment in Fayard Cemetery.
