Maxine Corso Covacevich, 89, of Biloxi died Thursday, August 11, 2005. Ms. Covacevich was a life long resident of the coast. She was a senior companion for 20 years and an avid reader. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ms. Covacevich was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Nellie Corso and infant brother, Joseph Corso, Jr.
She is survived by a son, Joseph Keith Covacevich and his wife, Sylvia, of Biloxi; two sisters, Tina Harrison of Biloxi and Rita Jackson of Ocean Springs; a brother, Jimmy Corso and his wife, Edie, of Destrahan, LA; two grandchildren, Angela Suggs and her husband, Leon, of Ashland, AL and Cheryl Dimitry and her husband, Alex, of Ocean Springs; five great-grandchildren, Brandon Suggs of Camp Pendleton, CA, Brittany Suggs of Ashland, AL, Shane, Ryan and Brooke Dimitry of Ocean Springs.
Services will be Monday, August 15, 2005 at 12 noon at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford'O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi where friends may visit from 10:30 am till service time. Burial will follow in Southern Memorial Park.
