Melvin Earl Cobb, 78, of Biloxi, MS died on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 in San Marcos, TX. Mr. Cobb was a lifelong resident of Biloxi. He was a US Army veteran serving in the Korean Conflict. He retired from Ingall's Shipbuilding. He was active in his retirement and loved bird watching, photography, coin collecting and meeting his friends at Waffle House.
Mr. Cobb is preceded in death by his wife, Judy Hebert Cobb; daughter, Tyanna Segura.
He is survived by his daughters, Shirley, Audrey, Amanda Cobb; sons, Steve Henshaw and Gordon Cobb; sisters, Inez Czhec and Nona Taylor; 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild and a close friend and companion, Virginia Benson.
Funeral Services will be on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Biloxi. Friends may visit from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Swetman Cemetery.
