Melvin "Mac" McVey

Melvin “Mac” McVey, 70, of Ocean Springs, MS, died on Thursday, September 27, 2012. Mr. McVey served in the US Air Force and was a member of the Elks Lodge #2501 and Mosaic Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Herman and Ellen Mize McVey. Mr. McVey is survived by his wife, Sandy Gum of Ocean Springs; daughter, Kimberly Marie Bell of Ocean Springs; son, Brian (Rebecca) McVey of Ocean Springs; sisters, Carolyn (Bill) Fuerstenburg of Janesville, WI, Peggy (Michael) Land of Navarre, FL, Wanda (Smith) Brown of Booneville, MS, Gary McVey of Booneville, MS, Edwin (Sherry) McVey of Cooter, MO, and Martha Owens of Houston, MS; one granddaughter, Jordan Ashley Bell and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Friends may visit from 2:00 p.m. until service time.
