Micah Jeffrey Sison

Micah Jeffrey Sison, born May 31, 1990 in Gulfport, MS, passed away peacefully in his sleep in Biloxi, MS at the age of 31 on Saturday, February 26, 2022. He is survived by his parents William and Diane Sison from Gulfport, MS and siblings Chris and Sarah Sison, grandparents Sidney and Mary Sison, Alvis B. and Eileen Rutland, many aunts, uncles, cousins and his beloved Labrador, Cricket.

Micah graduated from Ocean Springs High School in 2008, attended the University of Southern Mississippi and was a skilled Electrician at the time of his death.
His friends and family would describe Micah as accepting, funny, intelligent, shy, hardworking, empathetic, loyal and creative. He was a walking Dictionary, Encyclopedia and Thesaurus. A human sponge that absorbed everything that interest him. Micah was a wordsmith and historian. His personal library is filled with a vast array of Christian, Comics & How To books. He loved watching history documentaries, science fiction and anime. Asian cuisine was his favorite to prepare, and if you knew Micah, you would have known his Scoville Scale level. As a self-proclaimed Sensory Evaluator, he had a curious palette often experimenting with foods always using the hottest peppers he could find.  Small investments in the stock markets and currency were his top interest. He had a good eye for thrifting and studied current trends for profit. In his spare time, he worked for 2 freelance data entry companies and typed 105 WPM.

As an infant he was dedicated to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 8, 1990 and continued his spiritual journey throughout his life until his passing. He witnessed to many people and gave his testimony often to those who felt lost and alone. Without prejudice he would support and encourage others. He had a beautiful heart and His compassion and empathy for others continues as he gave his body to become a Gift of Life Donor in order to save future lives. Micah’s loved ones have ensured his legacy will live on through organ and tissue donation. Through this generous decision, Micah will touch countless others as the family members, friends and communities of those who receive his donation will be forever impacted by their improved quality of life, made possible through these selfless gifts. If you knew Micah, you can imagine his fascination and intrigue with this gift.

He will be Forever missed. Forever loved. Our son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend.

Private services will be held at a later date.
