Michael Battle

Mr. Michael Thomas Battle, age 18, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Saturday, January 14, 2006, in Gautier, MS. Michael was born in Ocean Springs and was a resident of the community for ten years. He graduated from Ocean Springs High School and was attending MGCCC and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was an accomplished auto mechanic and formed a car club called "The A-Team". Michael was a member of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Esther Gage. He is survived by his father, Frank T. Battle of Jesup, GA., mother and stepfather, Bonnie P. and Donnie Carter of Mobile, AL., sisters, Tellie Carter, Jessica Carter, and Carolyn Scarbrough, two brothers, Ben Carter and Donnie Carter, Jr., all of Mobile, AL., maternal grandfather, Tom Gage, paternal grandfather, Thomas H. Battle, paternal grandmother, Nicole M. Battle, uncles, Marc P. Battle and Michael Mooney, aunts, Priscilla Allman, Tonia Hubbard, Loretta Alford and Rosella Pruitt, and many cousins. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 19, 2006, from 1:00 PM - 2 PM, with a 2 PM Mass of Christian Burial, all at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church.
