Mr. Michael D. Verzwyvelt, 28, of Gulfport, MS, died Friday, August 29, 2008, in Biloxi.
Mr. Verzwyvelt was born in Biloxi and remained a lifelong resident of the coast. He was a 1998 graduate of Biloxi High School and employed with Bonefish Grill as a chef. He was formerly employed with Hard Rock Casino and was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.
Survivors include his mother, Karen Walfield Verzwyvelt; father, Daniel L. Verzwyvelt and his wife, Diana; brother, Joseph Dana Verzwyvelt and his wife, Heather; two step-sisters, Tiffany Marie Busby and Marian Elizabeth Busby; and grandparents, Daniel J. and Nancy Verzwyvelt, and Les and Winnie Hudgeons.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, September 2, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church where friends may visit from 9 a.m. until service time. Interment will be in Alexandria Memorial Gardens in Alexandria, LA.
Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Pass Road, in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
