Michael Lawrence Desporte

Michael Lawrence Desporte, Sr., age 61, of Gulfport, formerly of Biloxi, died Tuesday, January 15, 2013. Michael loved his wife and children very much. He was an avid Saints fan and always put others above himself. He is preceded in death by his father, Andrew L. Desporte. His survivors include his loving wife of 24 years, Lillian Desporte; daughters, Krystal Boatner (Robert) and Katlyn Desporte; sons, Michael Desporte, Jr. (Pamela), Edwin Desporte, Matthew Desporte (Jennifer) and Allen Desporte; mother, Elizabeth Desporte; sister, Vivian Roche’ brothers, Rodney Desporte and Philip Desporte; five grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home at 11:30 a.m. Friends may visit two hours prior. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
