Michael Preston Bledsoe

Mr. Michael Preston Bledsoe, age 50, of Biloxi, MS., died Thursday, May 4, 2006, in Biloxi. Mr. Bledsoe was a longtime resident of the coast. He attended St. Martin High School and was the founding member of CoastCon. He was a former teacher and administrator for the United Christian Academy in Cleveland, TN. He attended and taught Sunday school at St. John Episcopal Church in Ocean Springs for the last two years. Mr. Bledsoe was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Charles Stanley, grandmother, Juliette Elizabeth Woods, and grandfather, Willie Barton Woods. Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Ellen Wilkerson Bledsoe of Biloxi, MS., daughter, Katrina Bledsoe, son, Patrick Bledsoe, parents, Clovis P. Bledsoe and Nora Woods Stanley, and sisters, Juliette Stanley Thompson and Noelle Stanley Laughlin. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 9, 2006, from 12 Noon - 1 PM, with a 1 PM Memorial Service, all at St. John Episcopal Church in Ocean Springs. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
