Michael C. "Big Mike" Simmons

Mr. Simmons “Big Mike”, 44, of Biloxi, passed away, Saturday, July 25, 2015. Big Mike was born in Biloxi where he remained a lifelong resident. He enjoyed fishing and being on the water; but he loved spending time with his only granddaughter, Araeya. He was a caring, loving, humble, hardworking and stand up man, who was devoted to his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Simmons; brother, Larry Hebert ; and granddaughter, Maddilynn Simmons. Big Mike is survived by his son, Michael C. Simmons, Jr.; mother, Ida Mae Simmons; sister, Gloria Lonon; brothers, Marion “Pokey” Bedlington, Lonnie Bedlington, Donald Bedlington and Carl “C.J.” Bedlington. Friends may visit Tuesday, July 28, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00pm and a Time to Share Memories will begin at 7:00pm at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home.
