Michael David "Crockett" Terry

Michael David "Crockett" Terry, age 69, died peacefully at home among family Thursday, December 20, 2018 in Ocean Springs. He was born in Biloxi and a lifelong resident of Ocean Springs. He served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. He was an outboard mechanic for many years and was employed with Bayou Sporting Goods in Ocean Springs. He went on to retire from Ingalls Shipyard as a machinist. He was also Catholic. Michael is preceded in death by his father, Chester H. Terry, Sr.; brother, Chester H. Terry, Jr.; sister, Rose Marie Thompson; brother-in-law, Bradley J. Thompson; and nephew, Blake Anthony Terry. Survivors include his mother, Mary Lee Murray Terry; daughter, Christy Howell; grandchildren, Kayla, Kodee, Callie; his sister, Cheryl Terry (Ty) Cox; brothers, Curtis Wayne (Linda) Terry, Henry Joseph (Carolyn) Terry, and Anthony Mark (Kelley) Terry; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held Sunday, December 23, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home. Friends may visit two hours prior. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
