Michael "Chewy" Windom

Michael “Chewy” Windom passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 3, 2025 surrounded by his loving family in Biloxi, Mississippi. He is survived by his wife of nearly 26 years, Jennifer Windom; his two devoted children, Leigh (Will) and Helen (Aaron); two grandsons who adored their Paw-Paw, Eli and Samuel; and by his siblings, Butch (Emi), Celeste (Randy) and Terri (Joey). 

Michael was born in 1965 to Harold and Deanna Windom. As a proud Biloxian, his youth and adulthood were molded through the Biloxi Public Schools where he graduated in 1984. His future was set as he moved to work in the same school system for 25 years. He also shared his strength in protecting others for nearly 30 years of service with the Mississippi Gulf Coast Coliseum. 

Michael was dearly loved by many friends who visited him in his last days. In his spare time, Michael loved traveling with his family and cruising in his Jeep. 

A celebration of life will be held at The French Club on Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
