Mildred " Millie" Jones Davis 85, of Biloxi died March 27th . Millie was born in Speigner, AL, on July 17, 1921. As a military wife, she traveled the world but her heart was always in Alabama. She was an avid Bear Bryant, Alabama Crimson Tide fan and loved the New York Yankees. At one time she was a master bridge player, a one time golfer until a pond claimed her clubs. She was a collector of elephants, roosters, Tea pots, sets of dishes, coffee cups and Betty Boop memorabillia. She was a mother or grandmother to all her children's friends. She would not hesitate to set you straight with a wiggle of her index finger pointed at you. She will be sadly missed by anyone that had ever met her. Mildred is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Waldo Davis Sr., her parents James Earl Jones Sr. and Lucy Cross Jones, brothers and sisters Dan Jones and wife Mary, James Earl Jones Jr. and wife Mary, Virginia Lotts anf her husband Jack, Annie Maude Speigner and her husband Wilbur, Roger "Buddy" Jones, Raymond "Bobo" Jones and his wife Ann, granddaughter Mildred "Millie" Yvette Tiblier. She is survived by her sister Frances Deloach, and sister in law Jenny Jones, six children Mary Davis, Linda Sue Posladek and husband Ron, Thomas W. Davis Jr., Cheryl Jade Tiblier and her husband Gordon Doranna Grace Loughlin and her husband Steven, Charles Fredrick "Freddy" Davis Sr. and wife Debbie, twelve garndchildren John Elton Spalding, Richard Thomas Saunder, Charles Michael Dewayne Davis, Dean Patrick Davis and wife Sally, Janie Sue Kampf, and husband Kevin, Joel Thomas Davis, and wife Laura, Laurie Rae Burlison and husband John Paul, Gordon Julius Tibiler Jr. "BG", Michael Robert Barido, Charles Frederick " Freddy " Davis Jr., Wiliam Eugene Davis, Timothy Eric Davis , twelve great grand children Patrick Ryan Davis-Nitz, Abigayle Ann Davis Davis-Nitz, Alexander Purvis Davis-Nitz, Brittany Hope Davis, Kennedy Faith Kampf, Keeley Love Kampf, Eli Wyatt Burlison, Georgia Millie Burlison, Justyn Julius Tiblier, Jerry Micheal Duggan Jr., Dana Dugann, two great great great grandchildren, Keller Delray Tilblier, Bryson Michael Duggan and her beloved pets Crybaby and Blue and numerous nieces and nephews in Alabama. Services will held on Saturday, March 31, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Bradford-O'keefe Funeral Home Pass Road Chapel where friends and family may visit one hour prior to service.
