Mrs. Mildred Ruth Fayard, age 71, of Vancleave, MS, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2017.
She was born on February 22, 1945, in Raleigh, NC. Ruth served as a local beautician for 35 years. She brought joy and happiness to all she met. Her eyes sparkled with the love she had inside.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Herchel Lester Fayard, son, Richard Glenn Fayard, grandson, Richard Glenn Fayard II and brothers, Paul, Joe, Lynn and Fred Kenion.
Survivors include her daughters, Marti Lynn Fayard (Chase Hudson), Heather Fayard Keith (Frankie Williams), son, Robert Herchel Fayard (Starlette), daughter, Wendy Joy Fayard (Christina), brothers, Ben Kenion, Clyde Kenion (Shirley), and sister-in-law, Lois Kenion. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 11, from 10 am until 12 noon, with a 12 noon church service, all at Ramsay Hills Baptist Church, 13300 Joe Batt Rd, Vancleave. Burial will follow in Vancleave #1 Cemetery, Jim Ramsay Rd. Pastor Chase Elkins and Brother Walter Grater are officiating the service.
