Mildred Jeanette Phillips Frieze

Mildred Jeanette Phillips Frieze, 83, of Gulfport, MS died on November 20th 2022.

Mildred was a beloved mother, grandmother and faithful friend. Mildred was born in Jones County and was a resident in Gulfport for her adult life. Mildred had many jobs but her favorite was being a mother to her beloved children.

She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Gulfport. Mildred had a generous heart and kept her constant faith.

Mrs. Frieze is preceded in death by her parents, William and Virgie Phillips; her husband, Jack Frieze; her daughters, Rhonda Ford and Brandi Frieze; granddaughter, Selena Olivia Frieze; her three sisters, Alice Reese, Dorthoty Smith, and Kathleen Winn; and three brothers, Howard, Jerry, and Carroll Wayne Phillips.

She is survived by her son, Herb Murphy (Karen); her daughters, Angie Redd (Mike) and Kelli Cuevas; seven grandchildren, Roxanne Graham, Baley Tanner, Jamie Murphy, Carlie McLeod, Anna Harrison, Mason Murphy, and Matthew Favre. Mildred also has 12 great-grandchildren who she cherished very much.

The frieze family would like to extend a thank you to Hearts and Home LLC, Greg Sullivan and Tereasa Stuckey, and the staff at Singing River Hospital of Gulfport for taking such wonderful care of Mildred.

A funeral service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15^th Street, Gulfport. Friends may visit from 8:30 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15^th Street, Gulfport is honored to serve the Frieze family.
