Mildred Lucille Childs

Mildred Lucille Childs, age 90, of Warm Springs, GA., died Wednesday, September 1, 2010 in Georgia. Mrs. Childs was born in Helena, Oklahoma. She was a resident of the Gulf Coast for twenty-two years and was a member of the Ocean Springs Church of Christ. She was a resident of Warm Springs, Georgia for the last three years. Mrs. Childs was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-one years, John K. "Wayne" Childs and daughter, Virginia Kay Hutchins. Survivors include her son, Kenneth W. (Cheryl) Childs of Warm Springs, GA.; her sister, Alta Immell of Wichita, Kansas; three grandaughters, Rene' Landrum, Monique Keen and Janiece Rawatt; six great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. There will be a Graveside Service on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to ones favorite charity.
