Mildred "Millie" White

Mrs. Mildred "Millie" White, age 88, of Vancleave, MS, was called to her heavenly home to join her beloved husband of 53 years, Steve, on September 21, 2011. Mrs. White was born June 19, 1923, in Vancleave and has been a resident of Vancleave most of her life. She retired from Life of Georgia Insurance Company after more than 30 years. She was a dedicated member of First Baptist Church of Vancleave and faithfully served in numerous church ministries. Mrs. White is survived by two daughters, Linda Dambrino and husband, Michael, of Vancleave and Barbara Baker and husband, Leroy, of Gulfport; brother, Kell Martin and wife, Betty, of Vancleave; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, September 23, 2011 at First Baptist Church of Vancleave with visitation from 10:00 am until service time. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Cemetery in Gulfport. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials made to First Baptist Church of Vancleave Building Fund, Post Office Box 5187, Vancleave, MS 39565.
