Mr. Milton G. Favre, 74, of Gulfport, MS, died Friday, December 1, 2006, in Gulfport.
Mr. Favre was a native and lifelong resident of Gulfport. He was a graduate of Gulfport High School where he lettered in football. He served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict and retired from the Naval Construction Battalion Center in Gulfport after 30 years of employment. Mr. Favre was a member of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Winona Favre, and brothers, Alvin Favre, Ervin "Duck" Favre, and Bobby Favre. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Peggy Freeman Favre of Gulfport; daughter, Mitzi Favre Palazzo and her husband, Frank S., III, of Gulfport; three sisters, Rita Pavolini and Vivian Bowles and her husband, Herman, all of Montgomery, AL, and Audrey Lyons of Valparaiso, FL, and one grandchild, Kaitlyn Taylor Palazzo.
Visitation is Tuesday, December 5, 2006, from 10 a.m. until 12 noon at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport. A procession will leave the funeral home at 12 noon for graveside services at 12:30 p. m. at Biloxi National Cemetery.
