Minna "Marie" Frieda Becker Pearson

Minna “Marie” Frieda Becker Pearson, 102, of Biloxi, MS passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024 in Gulfport.

Minna was born on August 18, 1921 in Freiendiez, Germany to Karl Wilhelm and Margaretha Lotz Becker. She was a dearly loved aunt and faithful friend and she was the life of any party that she attended! Minna’s biggest love was travel, especially world cruises, where she was beloved. Minna made friends easily and well and was still in contact with some of her cruise companions.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Howard Pearson; her parents; and her faithful companion, Tom Fields.

Minna’s survivors include many great nieces and nephews including Lynn Pearson Shiner and Lauri Pearson of Texas and Martina Rixen of Lahnstein, Germany; and others in the Pearson family and in Germany.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made in Minna’s memory to a children’s charity of your choice.

The family wishes to extend a huge thank you to Natasha, Aisha and Stephanie, her adored caretakers and friends at Gulfport Care Center and to her close circle of friends in Biloxi who never forgot “Ms. Marie”.

A graveside service will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery on Monday, April 22, 2024 at 11:00 am.
