Minnie Jean Carpenter, 86 of Biloxi, MS passed away June 17, 2021 in Biloxi, MS.
She was born August 23, 1934 in Corinth, MS to Minnie and Walter Parnell. Jean was employed as a Commodity Broker. She was an artist and a painter.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Minnie and Walter Parnell; husband, Wallace Carpenter; brothers, Bart (Loraine) Parnell, Owen (Eunice) Whitehurst, Obie (Earnestine) Whitehurst, Bob (Doris) Parnell, Johnny (Mary) Parnell, Kenneth (Betty) Parnell, and Jim Parnell; sisters, Ella (Clay) Stutts and Vella (Edgar) Morris; and brother-in-law, Wilson Woods.
She is survived by her son, Bryan Carpenter; daughter-in-law, Holly Carpenter; grandchildren, Nicole Rosseti, Hannah Sorenson, Logan Sorenson, Sara Vladisavljich, Aiden Ayares, Arlo Ayares, and Luke Vladisavljich; sister, Ann Woods; sisters-in-law, Nancy Parnell and Dianne Carpenter; and her pets, Wrigley Field of Addison and Clark.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 11:00 am with a service to follow at 11:00 am on June 23, 2021 all at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Pass Rd. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m.
