Mitsuko Nieberlein

Mrs. Mitsuko "Micky" Nieberlein, 80, of Biloxi, MS, died Saturday, April 10, 2010, in Biloxi. Mrs. Nieberlein was a native of the Philippines, born to Japanese parents. She married an American serviceman and traveled the world with her family. They retired in Biloxi where they have resided for the past 36 years. Mrs. Nieberlein was preceded in death by her parents, Chiyozo and Kiyoko Sasaki. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Edward R. Nieberlein, of Biloxi; two daughters, June M. (George) Clemens of Ocean Springs, and Linda M. Smith of Misawa, Japan; two sons, Edward J. (Kay) Nieberlein of Pensacola, FL, and Michael A. Nieberlein of Houston, TX; two sisters and seven brothers who live in Japan; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Visitation is Wednesday, April 14, 2010, from 5 until 7 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 2511 Pass Road, in Biloxi. Funeral services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
