Mr. Morris Adams, Sr., age 86, of Biloxi, MS., died Saturday, June 17, 2006, in Brookhaven, MS. Mr. Adams was a resident of the community for 56 years. He formed the local Biloxi Chapter of the American Federation of Government Employees, Local #2670, and was the past president. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Katherine Adams, his parents, Benjamin and Mary Ann Adams, sister, Helen Moncrief, and three brothers, Howard Adams, Benjamin Adams, and Lewis Adams. Survivors include a daughter, Jan Cantrell of Brookhaven, MS., two sons, Morris (Sue) Adams, Jr. and Mark (Tammy) Adams, all of Ocean Springs, MS., four sisters, Edna Bowman and Hazel Driggers, both of Magnolia, AR., Betty Chalfant of Cleveland, OH, and Jewel Walker of Magnolia, MS., a brother, Tommy Eugene Adams of Texarkana, AR., eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. On Saturday, June 24, 2006, there will be a Memorial Visitation from 5-7 PM in the Ocean Springs Stateroom of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home.
