Mr. John Moore, 77, of Biloxi, died Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at his home. Mr. Moore was a retired SMSGT from the U.S. Air Force of 28 years. When first enlisted, he was a member of the Sixth Air Rescue Squadron in New York. He was later transferred to Keesler A.F.B. where he met his wife, Lois. He was a kind and loving husband, father, and grandfather with a remarkable since of humor. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post 2434. He was born and raised in Worcester, MA and an avid Boston Red Sox fan. Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his father and mother, William and Beatrice (Cardinal) Moore; brothers, Alfred, Lawrence and Charles Moore; sisters, Dorothy Kapulka, Madeline Dube, Lorraine Martellotta, and Barbara De Laurie. Mr. Moore leaves his wife of 51 years, Lois (Wilkinson) Moore, three daughters, Jackie Penny and her husband Damon and their two sons, Bryce and Britt; JoLynn Roberts and her husband Sam and their two daughters, Chelsey and Haley; Jill Kovacs and her sons Joshua and his wife Elizabeth; Justin Joachim and his fiancée Emma Girouard; Kirk Parker, and her husband Tibor; two brothers, Donald Moore and his wife Kim of Houston, TX; Robert Moore and his wife Harriett of Auburn, MA; and a sister-in-law, Yolanda Moore of Spencer, MA. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Debbie Dubuisson with Quality Home Health for her compassion and immediate assistance in our time of need. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, February 5, 2007 at 12:30pm at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church; friends may visit one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow in the Biloxi National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Our Lady of Fatima, 314 Jim Money Road, Biloxi, MS 39531. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Pass Road, Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
