Mr. Kenneth H. Cripps, Jr.,

Mr. Kenneth H. "Sonny" Cripps, Jr., 73, of Wiggins, MS passed away Monday, October 30, 2006 in Gulfport. Mr. Cripps was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served from 1950 until 1953. His work as a controller in the construction field led him to many areas in the United States and abroad. Mr. Cripps was a member of the Maranatha Baptist Church in Wiggins. Mr. Cripps was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth H. Sr. and Mary Margaret McCaffrey Cripps. Mr. Cripps was the beloved husband of 51 years to, Lorraine Bishop Cripps of Wiggins; and loving father to three sons, Kenneth Michael (Lori) Cripps of South Carolina, John Thomas (Dawn) Cripps, Sr. of Wiggins, and Ricky Lynn (Teresa) Cripps of Gulfport; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and beloved brother to four sisters, Pauline Doris Waller of Lafayette, LA, Betty Jane Brown of Beaumont, TX, Norma Jean Murdock of Biloxi, and Mary Frances Mapes of Biloxi. Visitation will be Thursday, November 2, 2006 from 5:00 til 7:00pm at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes. Services will be Friday, November 3 at 1:00pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial to follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
