Mr. Ralph Mattina

Mr. Ralph "Country" Mattina, 82, of Biloxi, MS died Saturday, January 28, 2006 in Houston, TX. He was a lifelong resident of Biloxi and a veteran of WW II serving in the U.S. Navy. Country was a well known mixologist for many different lounges, nightclubs and hotels. He worked at The Fiesta at the Fiesta, Top of the Sheraton Supper Club, Royal D'Iberville Hotel and the Broadwater Hotel. He also was a musician, carpenter and a barber. He is survived by a sister: Shirley Rose Joullian of Biloxi a brother Royce Mattina of Gulfport MS and a host of relatives and friends. There will be remembrance gathering at the "Project Lounge" 208 Iberville Dr. Biloxi Friday, Feb 3, 2006 beginning at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be held at a later date in the Biloxi National Cemetery.
