Mrs. Barbara A. Thibodeaux, 68, of Biloxi, MS, passed away at her home with her family by her side, Thursday, July 20, 2006, in Biloxi.
Mrs.Thibodeaux was a native and lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. She worked for Dr. Broussard, a local veteranarian, and went on to manage the Upstairs at the Par 3 Golf Coarse in Biloxi.
She never met a stranger and leaves behind many beloved friends and family. In addition to raising her own children she was the mother to many children whom she taught love and respect. She was a eucharistic minister at St. Marys Catholic Church in Woolmarket and was devoted to her Lord. She loved working in her yard, caring for her pool and animals. She lived a life full of joy and happiness and freely gave of herself to all who needed her.
Mrs. Thibodeaux was preceded in death by her parents, George F. Hunt and Myrtle M. Olier Hunt.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Thibodeaux, of Biloxi; a daughter, Lori A. Ladner, and her husband, Trampas, of Woolmarket; two sons, Kenneth J. Thibodeaux, Jr. and his wife, Candace, and Christopher G. Thibodeaux and his wife, Amber, all of Woolmarket; two sisters, Joan Gilbert of Biloxi, and Sherilyn Saggus and her husband, Gerry, of N. Augusta, SC; a brother, George F. Hunt and his wife, Lola, of Texas City, TX, and five grandchildren, Chelsea King, Jansen King, Hunter Paige Thibodeaux, Greyson and Cole Thibodeaux. She is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held today, July 22, 2006, at 1 p.m. at St. Marys Catholic Church where friends may visit from 11 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery.
The Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
