Mrs. Camela Stella

Mrs. Camela Stella, age 78, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Thursday, February 10, 2005, in Gulfport, MS. Mrs. Stella was a native of Brooklyn, NY. She had been a coast resident for the past two years. She retired from civil service as a staff appraiser for H.U.D. after twenty years of service. Mrs. Stella also worked for the Department of Defense. She was an active real estate broker until the time of her death. She attended St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Mrs. Stella is survived by her husband of 57 years, Joseph A. "Joe" Stella of Ocean Springs, two sisters, Elizabeth Ford of Ocean Springs and Jean Mahanna of Huntington, New York, one brother, Louis Varricchio of Locust Valley, New York, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Sunday and Monday, February 13 and 14, 2005, from 6-8 PM, with a 6:30 PM Rosary on Monday, February 14. On Tuesday, February 15, 2005, there will be a 9:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
