Mrs. Gilda Canizaro Henson

Mrs. Gilda Canizaro Henson, 58, of Knoxville, TN, died Tuesday, August 22, 2006 in Ocean Springs after a lengthly battle with cancer. Mrs. Henson was preceded in death by her parents Dr. Vito and Gilda Canizaro and her brother Horace Canizaro. Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Scott Henson of Knoxville, TN, four sons, Anthony Butler and wife Laney; Donald Butler, Jr and wife Shanna all of Biloxi, Darrell Henson of Baytown, TX; Steve Henson and wife Tammy of Texarkana, TX. four brothers, Joseph Canizaro and wife Sue Ellen of New Orleans, LA; Vito Canizaro and wife Joyce of Ocean Springs, MS; Marion Canizaro and wife Kathleen of Lynn, MA; Roy Canizaro of Hattiesburg, MS, two sisters, Anna Rose Bacas and husband Buddy of Picayune, MS and Vita Canizaro of Seaside, FL., six grandchildren, Malia, Gillian, Alexis, and Landon Butler, Karissa and Katelyn Henson. Visitation will be Friday August 25, 2006 from 5:30 until 9:00 pm at the Howard Ave Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes, Recitation of Rosary will begin at 6:00 pm Friday. There will be a 10:00 am Mass of the Resurrection Saturday, August 26, 2006 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Biloxi, MS. Interment will be at Crestlawn Memorial Park, Ocean Springs, MS. Howard Ave Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes, in charge of arrangements.
