Mrs. Karin M. Banisch

Mrs. Karin M. Banisch, 63, died Monday, June 26, 2006 in Biloxi. Mrs. Banisch was born in Iserlohn,Germany and grew up in the post war period. She was fully committed to the support of her husband and family in his military career and was devoted to him and their children. Mrs. Banisch had a desire to be involved in her church at First Baptist Church of Biloxi. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother whose sacrifices and love will be sadly missed. Mrs. Banisch was preceded in death by her parents, Fritz and Paula Hilsmann of Germany and her sister, Gisela Brown of Germany. Survivors include her husband, Ret. Col. Werner W. Banisch of Wuerzburg, Germany, her daughter Mrs. Gabriele Adams of Burleson, TX, two sons, Mr. Thomas W. Banisch and Mr. Michael H. Banisch both of Biloxi, three grandchildren, Mr. Michael Paul Adams of Burleson, TX, Mrs. Tashia McGinn of Ocean Springs, and Mr. Thomas Deshazo of Biloxi, two great grandchildren, Mr. Corblin McGinn of Ocean Springs, Mr. Colton Deshazo of Biloxi, and one brother, Mr Heiner Hilsmann of Iserlohn, Germany. Visitation will be 6-8:00 pm, Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home, Pass Road in Biloxi. A funeral will be 10:00 am, Thursday, June 29, 2006 at First Baptist Church of Biloxi. Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Humane Society of South Mississippi, 2615 Hwy 49, Gulfport, MS 39501.
