In loving memory of Mrs. My Thi Do, who graced our lives as a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She peacefully departed this world on September 12, 2023, at the age of 92.
She was born on August 09, 1931, in Nam Dinh, Viet Nam, to parents Manh Do and Bien Vu. Mrs. Do was the third of 10 children.
Mrs. Do was a woman of remarkable talents. Among her many skills, she excelled as a businesswoman, constructed and remodeled her own homes, was a self-taught seamstress and a savvy gardener. She loved spending time in the garden, growing all kinds of fruits and vegetables to great success.
Mrs. Do had a total of 10 children, 5 stepchildren, 40 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hung Vu, and is survived by 2 sisters and 8 children.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue in Biloxi on Friday, September 22, 2023.
A heartfelt farewell will be held during a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at the Vietnamese Martyrs Catholic Church, 171 Oak Street, Biloxi, MS 39530.
Interment will follow Mass at Old Biloxi Cemetery.
