Myron Douglas Sunde, Jr.

Mr. Myron "Doug" Sunde, Jr., age 75, of Gulfport, MS., died Wednesday, May 2, 2007, in Gulfport. Mr. Sunde was a resident of the coast for thirty years and was a member of the American Legion Post # 1992. He loved to work with wood and had a wonderful sense of humor. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Erin Sunde and his parents, Myron Sunde, Sr. and Ruth Craig Sunde. Survivors include his loving friend and companion of seventeen years, Juana Robinson, daughter, Amber (Gerald) Dickerson, all of Gautier, MS., son, Robert (Cindy) Booth of Milford, MI., two sisters, Pamela Tuli of Palos Verdes, CA., and Molinda Parker of Grove, OK., three grandchildren, Wesley Vestal of Stateroad, N.C., Scotty Vestal of Elkin, N.C., and Robert A. Booth of Milford, MI., and one great-grandchild, Allyssa Vestal of Elkin, N.C. On Monday, May 7, 2007, there will be a 9 AM graveside service at Biloxi National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to the American Legion Post #1992, 3824 Old Spanish Trail, Gautier, MS., 39553. The Ocean Springs Chapel of BRADFORD O'KEEFE Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
