Nancy H. Byers

Nancy H. Byers, age 81, joined her husband on Monday, April 3, 2017. Nancy was a resident of Gautier since 1974. She was the Director of Nursing for Professional Home Health and retired from there in 1998. She was an active member of Christ Lutheran Church in Pascagoula. Nancy was devoted to her family and was a loving wife, mother, and MiMi to her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 39 years, John Byers; parents, Thomas and Ethel Hartis; and two brothers. Survivors include her daughters, Kim (Tommy) Howard and Lisa Davis; son, Johnnie (Tommie Alice) Byers; sister, Betty (Joe) Rimmer; 8 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. Service will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
