Nancy Elizabeth Langley Milhollin of Biloxi, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 22, 2022, at The Carpenter House Hospice in Gulfport, Mississippi. She was born Thursday, April 23, 1936 in Ovett, Mississippi, one of six children.
Nancy was a devout Christian who lived for the moment and the future, never looking back. She was a doting mother, wife and sister who never asked for anything in return. She enjoyed the outdoors and the living creatures in it, from feeding and watching the birds, squirrels and turtles or just about any little animal that would show up in her beautiful landscaped yard. Her happy place was working in her yard and flower beds. She also loved visiting the mountains and the beautiful waterfalls within them. If you offered her a challenge in a game of HORSE with a basketball, she couldn’t resist the opportunity…not even letting her grandkids win. They would have to earn that win. And even though dementia was taking away her memory, it never took the love for her family, her beautiful smile or a warm hug whenever you would need it. She was blessed with her loving husband, Robert (Bob) Milhollin for over 65 glorius years that all began on a blind date, two loving children and six grandchildren that all admired and loved her dearly.
Nancy believed in education, receiving her BS degree from the University of South Alabama in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Library Science. She worked as a librarian/media specialist for the Harrison County Schools until her retirement in 1996.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Zeb and Zella Langley, sisters, Nella Sanders, Peggy Payne and Minnie Loutzenheiser, brothers, Luke Langley and William (Bill) Langley.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Milhollin, son David Milhollin, daughter Belinda Gomez (Juan), grandchildren, Alex Milhollin, Ashley Milhollin, John Anthony Gomez, Christopher Gomez, Ryan Gomez and Sean Gomez and a host of nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at 10:00 am until 11:00 am with a service to follow at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Bay Vista Baptist Church, 2485 Pass Road, Biloxi, MS 39531.
