Mrs. Naomi C. Smith Stewart, 81, of Biloxi, MS died Sunday, February 13, 2005, in Biloxi.
Mrs. Stewart was a native of Tennessee. She had been a coast resident for the past 25 years. She was also a longtime resident of New Orleans. Mrs. Stewart was a member of the First Baptist Church of Biloxi.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, R. V. Smith, Jr. and William Stewart and a daughter, Robin N. Rapp.
Survivors include three sons, Gordon C. "Chet" White, Laurin J. Chatelain and David P. Chatelain all of Biloxi; three sisters, Lola Whitehurst of Meridianville, AL, Judy Amaro of Algiers, LA and Doris Sue Duplessis of Roseburg, OR; a brother, Donald Crabtree of Mt. Juliett, TN; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 16, 2005, at 11 a.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi where friends may visit from 9 a.m. till service time. Burial will follow in Southern Memorial Park.
