Nathan Edgar “Bud” Curington, 74, of Ocean Springs, MS died Friday, March 30, 2012 in Ocean Springs.
Mr. Curington was a resident of Ocean Springs since 1980. He was a retired welder from Boilermaker-Blacksmith and a retired live bait shrimper. He was a stock car racer and he enjoyed fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed telling stories to his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clara and Achey Curington; sister, Anna Storment; and brothers, Jerry Wayne Curington and Roger Curington.
Survivors include his brothers, Richard Curington, Toby Curington, James (Judy) Curington, Larry Curington, and Travis Curington; his sisters, Sherry Curington and Mary (Pumpkin) Hebert; his wife of 33 years, Betty Curington; ex-wife, Wanda Curington; daughter, Gina (Duane) Larson; step-children, Becky (Bobby) Smith, Darlene (Franklin) Tucei, Melvin (Teri) Evans and Gary Evans; grandchildren, Jeff, Stacey, Lisa, Justin, Christina, Kevin, Charles, Vincent, Dylan and Tristen; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 3, 2012 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a 1:00 pm service on Wednesday, April 4, 2012, all at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Interment will follow at D’Iberville Memorial Park.
