Nelda J. Lott Ryals Guest

Nelda J. Lott Ryals Guest, 79, of Gulfport, MS died Friday, June 15, 2012 in Gulfport. Nelda was a very gifted lady that never met a stranger. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Bayou View. She was former owner of Pearl Beer Distributing Co. In her later years, she was a hostess at the Broadwater Marina Hotel and Restaurant and The Downtowner in Gulfport. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband, Jim. She is preceded in death by her husband, C. Darwin Ryals, Sr.; her parents, Henry and Delphia Lott; her brother, Henry Ross Lott; and her sisters, Flossie Bond, Helen Hatten and Virginia Sumrall; her son-in-law, Bobby G. O’Barr, Sr; and her niece, Peggy Kennedy-Sifers (Ralph). Survivors include her husband, James M. Guest, Jr.; her son, C. Darwin Ryals, Jr.; her daughters, Jennifer Ryals-O’Barr and Christa Ryals-Bond (Leo); her sister, Ruth Lott Morris; her grandchildren, C. Darwin Ryals, III (Lynette), Richard G. O’Barr and Jake, Joshua and Jeni Bond; her brother-in-law, William J. Guest; and her nephew, Jim Sifers. Visitation will be held Monday, June 18, 2012 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm with a 2:00pm service all at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 2511 Pass Road, Biloxi. Interment will follow in Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens in Gulfport.
