Nell Lang Davis

Nell Lang Davis, age 92, of Gulfport died Monday, February 4, 2008 in Wiggins. She was born in Pass Christian and was a life long resident of the Gulf Coast. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Gulfport. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, William Murphy Davis, Sr.; her parents, Arthur Wallace Lang, Sr. and Carrie Thorne Cowan Lang; a grandson, Anthony V. Davis; a sister, Lillian Lang Garner; and a brother, Arthur W. "Buzzy" Lang, Jr. She is survived by a daughter, Priscilla "P.K." Sullivan and her husband, Buddy of Saucier; two sons, William M. Davis, Jr. and his wife Carolyn of Long Beach and Douglas L. Davis of Hancock County; a sister, Carrie Thorne Lang Walker of Gulfport; five grandchildren, Warren M. Davis, Nelson G. Davis, Gayle Eadie (Henry), Lana Janes (Harry) and Scott Davis; and four great-grandchildren, Margaret Davis, Brandi Eadie, Alex Eadie, and Harrison Janes. The funeral service will be Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 1726 15th Street, Gulfport where friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until the service. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Gulfport.
