Nell, better known as Noni, died peacefully surrounded by her devoted family and friends on Monday, February 18, 2013.
Noni was born on June 26, 1946, and was a loving wife for 49 years to the love of her life, David. She was a wonderful mother to her four daughters and a loving grandmother to her eight grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, one step- great-grandchild, and her great- granddaughter on the way. Noni always provided her family with unconditional love, kindness, compassion, and discipline. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Noni was preceded in death by a sister, Mavis Marcuson and a step-grandchild, Aaron Garlotte.
Survivors include her parents Nelson and Eunice Seymour; husband David Moore; daughters, Angie (Rick) Harris, Rachel (Patrick) Broussard, Dawn (Stacy) Casey, Jessica (Donald McClain) Kimble; five brothers, Kerry, Hank, Jeff, E.J. and Billy Seymour; two sisters, Jean Ziegler and Lisa Yarborough; eight grandchildren, Tiffany Harris, Deanna Englehart, Brian Englehart, Jinger Englehart, Joshua Broussard, Shianne Kimble, Josie Kimble, Wesley Kimble; four step- grandchildren, Katie Casey, Corey Casey, Tiffanie Garlotte, and Layla Moore; one step- great-grandchild, Mileigh Kennedy and two of her dearest friends, Alice Shoemaker and Crystal (Susie) Seymour.
Visitation will be on Friday, February 22, 2013, from 10 am until 12 noon. A 12 noon procession will leave the funeral home for a graveside committal in Seymour Cemetery. Friends are welcome to join the family at the Moore residence on Old Fort Bayou Road from 1 pm until.
