Nellie Victoria Kanode Misko

Mrs. Victoria Kanode Misko, 63, of Biloxi, MS, was called home to be with her mother Saturday, January 24, 2009, in Gulfport, MS. Vicki was born in Biloxi where she remained a lifelong resident. She was employed 40 years with AAFES at Keesler Air Force Base. She was of the Catholic faith. Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Ada Kanode; sisters, Betty Jean Mitchell, Ada B. Kanode, and her twin, Janet, who was lost at birth. She is survived by her sons, Duane Misko and Danny Misko; sister, Kelly Kanode; brothers, Jesse W. Kanode, Jr. and Troy Kanode; a very special niece, Ashley Miller; god child, Senta Jones; numerous other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 27, 2009, at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi where friends may visit from 1 p.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery.
