Nicholas “Nick” Joseph Civetti, age 83, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Gulfport, MS with his three daughters by his side. Nick was raised in Newton, MA (The Lake, Nonantum), after which he joined the Air Force. He served his country as a radar operator and an electronic data processor.
Nick was a loving father and grandfather and enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and his devoted partner Nell Allen. In his youth, he was an avid bowler and motorcycle enthusiast.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Civetta and Ella Marchioni; brothers, Frank Civetti and Joseph Civetti; sister, Sandra Weekley; and grandson, Nathan Martorelli.
Nick is survived by his brother, Charlie Civetta; daughters, Debbie Martorelli (Allen), Tammy Hogan (James) and Julie Lau (Eric); grandchildren, Melisa Binkey (Eric), Nicholas Panzera (Kelli), Ashley Panzera Marshall (Ben), Jackie Lau, Nicolette Lau, and Kyle Lau; and great-grandson, Leo Marshall.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 3, 2022 at Biloxi National cemetery with US Air Force honors. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport is honored to serve the Civetti family.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Nick's memory to your charity of choice.
