Mr. Noah "Nokie" Thibodeaux, age 92, of Biloxi, MS. passed away Friday, September 9, 2011 at home surrounded by his family.
Mr. Thibodeaux was born in Jeanerette, Louisiana and was a resident of Biloxi for most his life. He was retired from Ingalls Shipyard, and a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and the Fleur de Lis Society.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alexson and Lydia Thibodeaux, three sisters: Laurence Pavich, Aline Broussard, and Adelle Vallo; and two brothers, Irvin and Alex John Thibodeaux.
Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Althea Broussard Thibodeaux, sons, Floyd (Josephine) Thibodeaux, Sr. of Woolmarket, Darryl (Ann) Thibodeaux, Sr. of Ocean Springs, daughter, Gail (Gordon) Parker of Biloxi, seven grandchildren, Yvette Fountain, Floyd Thibodeaux, Jr., Josette Dutil, Angela Pickich, Darryl Thibodeaux, Jr., Sherree Pierce and Keri Campbell, and twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Monday, September 12, 2011, from 9 am 11 am, with an 11 am Mass of Christian Burial, all at St. Michael Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Southern Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to St. Michael Catholic Church Building Fund, 177 First Street, Biloxi, MS. 39530.
