Nola Waltman St. Amant

Nola Waltman St. Amant, age 74, passed from this life peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus on Thursday, October 17, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Philman and Sophie Waltman; husband, Edwand J. St. Amant; sister, June Peabody; a twin brother, Roland Waltman; son, Daniel St. Amant; and granddaughter, Dana Waltman. Nola is survived by seven children, Ronald (Sherry) Waltman, Philman (Sharon) Waltman, Patrica (Melvin) Ely, David St. Amant, Delilah (Gary Wayne) Joffrion, Philip Waltman, and Ruth Sadler; seven sisters; three brothers; 19 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was a devoted longtime member of D’Iberville Christian Assembly. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed and loved by many friends and family. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 20, 2013 at D’Iberville Christian Assembly, where friends may visit one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in Vancleave Holiness Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Billy J. Sadler, II, Caleb Ely, Joseph Joffrion, Joshua Joffrion, P.J. Waltman, and John John Ely. Honorary stand-in pallbearers will be D.J. St. Amant and Melvin Ely, Jr. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe is in charge of arrangements.
