Nora Holland

Mrs. Nora Mae Royce Holland, age 75, of Ocean Springs, MS., passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2006, in Vancleave, MS., from colon cancer. Mrs. Holland was born in Linton, Indiana and later moved to Brewton, AL. The Air Force brought her and her family to Mississippi. She and her late husband traveled the world over through their military assignments. She has been a part of the Ocean Springs community for over 30 years and is a member of the First Baptist Church of Ocean Springs. Mrs. Holland was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jesse Holland, Jr., sister, Fern Royce Greene, brother, Jack C. Royce, and her mother and stepfather, Mary and George Maddox. She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Holland Owens and husband, Michael, and their children, Christopher Owens and Dawn Owens Craig, and Kim Holland Tisdale and daughter, Jessica Tisdale, sister, Margie Royce Coombs, brothers, Victor Royce and Bill Royce, three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many other nephews and nieces. On Thursday, January 26, 2006, all relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation from 5-8 PM at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Friday, January 27, 2006, at 10:00 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow at 1:00 PM in Biloxi National Cemetery.
