Norma Marie Anseman, age 69, of Biloxi, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2023.
As a child of an Airforce service member stationed in and outside the US, Norma traveled and met many through her family’s journeys at a young age. Norma had a passion to live and experience as much as she could throughout her life. Her adventurous spirit led her to backpack areas of Europe, befriending many along the way which she did through a lens of love and compassion. Her family settled in Biloxi and she graduated class of 1972 from Biloxi High. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, she helped to heal many and retired from the Biloxi VA Hospital. Norma loved all things nature and could be found befriending many furry, four-legged creatures and whistling songs with our feathered friends. Her warmth and vibrant character will be missed, never forgotten, and felt in our deepest moments of need.
Norma is preceded in death by her parents, Alphonse Albert Anseman Jr. and Joan Blessey Anseman; and siblings, Alphonse Anseman III and John “Jack” Anseman.
Survivors include her daughter, Augusta Fisher; siblings, Patricia Anseman and Jill Stanley; nephews and nieces, Brian Anseman, Chrissa Germany, Mark Karcher, Sean Anseman, and Jennifer Stanley.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Friday, July 21, 2023. Visitation will begin one hour prior. Interment will be on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 11 am at St. Louis Cemetery #3 in New Orleans.
