Norman Ray Davenport

Norman Ray Davenport, age 85, of Long Beach, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport.

Norman was born on February 20, 1938 in the Mississippi Delta to Charles and Mattie Davenport. He worked as a contractor, roofer, and Mechanic. He enjoyed Spending time with his family, fishing, and football.

Norman is survived by his spouse, Georgia Davenport; children, Jerry A. Davenport and Danny R. Davenport (Sheryl); grandchildren, Matthew R. Davenport (Tracy), Mandy Davenport, Jerry Davenport, Jr., and Tabitha Davenport; great-grandchildren, Daniel J. Romero, Rowan J. Romero, Jack Davenport, Audrey Davenport, Kailen Romero, Zachary Davenport, and Hannabell Davenport; and brother Mitchell Davenport.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 8, 2023 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15^th Street, Gulfport, followed by a graveside service at 2:30 p.m. at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
