Norman Jerome Gonsoulin

Mr. Norman J. Gonsoulin, 73, a resident of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away Monday, January 28, 2008, at Ocean Springs Hospital. Norman served in the U. S. Army five years and spent thirteen years over seas. He was the owner of Esse's Grocery in Biloxi and an excellent cook which was his favorite pastime. He was preceded in death by his parents, Neville and Jeanne Gonsoulin, and a sister, Rose Medlin. He is survived by his wife, Carmen Gonsoulin, daughter, Melanie Howell and her husband, Derick, and Kim Turk; sisters, Sybol Burchinal and Joann Wetzel; and his granddaughters, Delanie and Darcy Howell. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, January 31, 2008 at 11 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church where friends may visit one hour before service time.
