Novaline May Tubre

Novaline May Tubre, age 95, of D’Iberville, MS passed away on Saturday, May 18^th 2024.

Novaline was born May 12, 1929 in Biloxi, MS to the late Christopher Lawrence and Myrtle Schnider Lawrence.  She remained a life long resident of the Coast.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Biloxi and served as a Sunday school teacher.  She graduated from Biloxi High School in 1946.  She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She will be missed by all that loved her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Tubre, Sr.; son, Robert G. Tubre Jr.; parents; sister, June Migues; brother, Christopher Lawrence Jr.; and grandson, Paul May.

Left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Novaline (Billy) Dodson, Margie (Jimmy) May and Karen (Travis) Hanson; daughter-in-law, Alice Tubre; sister, Kathrine Randall; grandchildren, Glen Kelly, Bryan and Amanda Kelly, Gena and Bill Schmid, Robert (Jennifer) Tubre III, Heather Dobnikar, Kristopher Tubre and daughter Alli, Chester Balius III, Holley and Lindsey Hanson, Tracy Parker, Billy Jo Dodson, Bronwyn James and Brett Dodson, Candy and Brian Scott; and 30 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 12:30pm at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Howard Ave. in Biloxi. Friends may visit two hours prior. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
